The Chatito Project was created in loving memory of Carlos “Chatito” to raise awareness, encourage young people to speak up, and remind every person that their life matters.
We are collecting toys for children in our community, and we need your help!
We created an Amazon Gift List with toys for our December Toy Drive. Choose a gift from the list, purchase it through Amazon, and help us put a smile on a child's face this Christmas.

Carlos was known as “Chatito” to the people who loved him. He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that made people feel welcome.
He loved being outdoors, playing football with the neighborhood kids, riding his bike with friends, talking to people, and making connections with everyone around him.
The Chatito Project exists so that Chatito's story can continue to make a difference.
Sometimes someone is hurting in ways we cannot see. A conversation, a listening ear, or simply reminding someone that they matter can make a difference.
We encourage young people to talk about what they are feeling and to reach out when life feels overwhelming.
We believe listening without judgment can help someone feel heard, valued, and less alone.
We want every young person to know that a difficult moment does not have to define their future.
On August 6, 2026, The Chatito Project hosted our first Back-to-School event, bringing our community together to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, supported, and helped make this event possible. What started as an idea to give back to our community became a meaningful day filled with kindness, generosity, and hope.
This event is just the beginning. We hope to continue growing, reaching more families, and creating events that bring our community together in honor of Chatito.
Your donation helps us raise awareness, spread hope, and support our mission to encourage young people to speak up and know that they are loved and valued.
If you are struggling, please don't face it alone. Reach out to someone you trust and ask for help.
